TOUR TO MOLE NATIONAL PARK

ONE OR TWO DAYS

Mole National Park, situated to the east of Tamale, is Ghana’s first,

largest and most prestigious protected area, set aside as a wildlife

refuge in 1958.

In Mole we go on safari with a ranger and experience the fantastic

local wildlife: elephants, baboons, warthogs, buffalos and more.

After the safari we will have lunch at a restaurant with a beautiful

view and perhaps take a swim in the pool.

On our way to Mole we visit and learn about the historic Larabanga

Mosque. We also stop at two villages of interest, one using innovative

solar power and the other producing charcoal. In both villages we

meet and talk with the local people.
